Christmas Weekend Recap + First Outfit Post

ohh heyy!!!

So Monday, we meet again!

This weekend felt soo long but its all gooood!

Hope everyone's Christmas was nice :)

Friday, Christmas Eve, I spent it with Christian's family. Totally awesome people!

I unwrapped my first gift, tamales! hahaha! They gave me some cute clothes, it was so nice of them to think of me :) but being with Christian for 5 years now, they know we always gonna be together ♥

Satuday, I went to visit my Granny in the rehab she is in, i miss her tons & I am praying she will be out soon! Lastly, we traveled to Chino to see my mom's side of the family. It was cool, drank some wine, ate alottttt!!! Oh and we watched the Family Guy Starwars Movie, super funny btw!

I got some hk pjs from my brother, hk slippers from mom, money from Christian to go shopping (since that is what I do best) & The most thoughtful gift I got was from my cousin...

For a year now I have been saying I am going to get my new camera "The Rebel"

Well this month a fund was finally started & she gave home made this card for me and wrote the cutest letter to me saying she was thinking what she get me, she can't afford to give me the camera, so she thought she should throw some money in the fund :)

I can't say how happy I am about that so I am just about half way there :)

Sunday, I bummed it alll dayyyy!

I hung out with Christian's little brother

 (not so little, he is taller than my boyfriend, 10 yr age diffrence hahah)

We watched movies, ate chili cheese fries & baked cookies :)

I like him like my own little brother!

He is only visiting one more week & he is off to Texas again :(

Last but not least: Today is my mama's birthday!

She is the best mother anyone can as for.

She is the funniest mom you will ever meet, she is one of a kind

and I am glad I can call her mom!

Yesterday ...

I can't even tell you how much of a great day yesterday was.

Ok, I will ♥ haha

My morning started at 7:30, we had our annual staff Christmas Breakfast.

Your regular kind of breakfast was served : Eggs, Potatoes, Bacon, ham & french toast !

They had a little meeting blah blah & then they informed us that they will be giving us a VERY generous Christmas Bonus. Which they referred to an "Employee Appreciation".

I don't care what they call it! I was sooo happy!

So now I get to buy decent presents for everyone, even me :)  hehe

Next, some friends from work had just came back from New York the previous night.

And guess what they brought me back?

Everyone knows me too well :)

After school I met with my mom & bought Christmas stuff for my house

and gift bags, act.

I hadn't seen my mama in like a week so i missed her!

Next, It was my very last day of school for the semester,

My last class was Ceramics.

Now to be quite honest, I am a horrible artsy person.

I really struggled in this class BUT when I saw the finishing touches of my mugs,

my heart melted hehe

I know it's not great, but to me, I feel so proud I made them!

Yay me!

Anyways, I finished my last day of school with a pot luck & the final!

The final was a breeze so I am pretty sure I passed!

I got home, set up all the Christmas stuff,

watched Conan & Lopez Tonite.

OMG I love George Lopez!

I think he is soooo hillarious!

SO I went on my phone to check my email

and I had gotten an email from

Erica from Sweets & Hearts

and she wanted to inform me I had won her Lily B Skin Care Giveaway!

This is what I won:

YAY! That completed my Wednesday!

Today is my first offical day off of school!

So my boy is going to look for his dream car,

Mitsubishi Evolution.

& dinner afterwards to celebrate my ending of school & Xmas Bonus (appreciation)

whatever!

The end is almost here ..

for school that is :)

School has really been kicking my butt lately!

I have a full time job then go to school until 10 pm!

but I have to do it! I refuse to give up!

Next week are finals so I am a little worried yet relieved!

In other news:  I had a really great weekend!

I should done this one yesterday but I was busy @ work & at school till late,

I am sure you understand :)

excessive grilled onions because my boyfriend hates them, lucky me!]

Saturday- Aside from schooolll , wahhh!

We went with a party of 8 to Toyko Wako in Pasadena!

the best food you will ever know, seriously!

then stopped by a favorite bar!

Sunday morning I took the Merto Gold Line to Little Tokyo.

Which is two stops away from my house :)

and ... I had a Hello Kitty Shopping Spree!

My friend Lesly works at Sanrio & apparently there is a special sale once a year when the employee & their guest get 50% off of everything !!!!!!!! ahhh ! and she selected me as her guest! She is the best!

I spend about $100.00

I wish I had more to spend, but rent was due hahaha!

I had lunch with my brother, his girl & my little nephew!

He is getting sooo big! I love him to pieces ♥

Last, our good friend Mario has family who works in a Christmas tree lot

 so we got a free tree & some BBQ, thanks to him!

and we got home & drank some Starbucks :)

I can not wait to decorate, but we are waiting for Christian's little brother from Texas to arrive on 12/20!

Christmas Dresses

It isn't even Thanksgiving yet and everywhere I go there are Christmas decorations and reminders!

Ahh ... that makes me start thinking of Christmas (which is exactly what they want) haha!

I remember two years ago on Christmas Eve --- it was raining sooo hard & my boyfriend's family had just moved to Texas, my family was celebrating Xmas day and we had nothing to do! His brother, him and I were so hungy & we were all sad we didn't have a Christmas dinner that night, so we decided to drive around and find some good food!
Everything was closed (duh, it was Xmas Eve) 
So then we just decided on what any other Mexican people settle for ...
no not tamales, TACOS!

We went to a taco joint right by out house and guess what we found on the floor?
 $600.00 dollars!

Now tell me that wasn't a Christmas miracle! ♥

Anyways, that not even the point~!  Hahaha! I wanted to post about how this year even if we have nothing to do, I wanna make the best out of it & find a cute Christmas dress!
